Week 9: Crystal Lake
Week 9
Summer is here! So much for spring, every day it’s been over 75 degrees. On Friday I went to visit a friend from school. He was doing an acoustic set at a small bar in Crystal Lake. It was great to see him, and catch up for a bit. He’s a stellar guitar player. As for the town of Crystal Lake, I didn’t see much of it.
So this week marks my last week of full school. Then I’ll have two weeks off and then summer hours start! Which leads me to my next item of conversation which is my summer goals:
- get my etsy store up and running… if you have any ideas of what I should sell, let me know
- Finish my songbook - I’m up to letter L, it’s quite a hefty book, I may need to get a new binder.
- Train for a half-marathon. Richard and I plan to do one in September in England. You can follow our training here: 13-1togo.tumblr.com
